We are looking for compassionate, dependable animal lovers to join our team!&nbsp;This is a part time, independent contractor (1099) position.&nbsp;In this role, you will provide personalized pet care in their own homes while giving clients consistent peace of mind. Each visit is unique and duties may vary with the type of pet and routines. Duties include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Providing food and fresh water for pets</li><li>Walking dogs in all weather situations</li><li>Playtime or exercise</li><li>Litter box scooping</li><li>Administering medications</li><li>Cleaning up after pets</li><li>Watering plants</li><li>Bringing in mail</li><li>Ensuring pets overall well-being and safety</li></ul>Most assignments are visits 1-3 times per day, for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Pay starts at $18.00/30 minute visit. Income will vary based on your availability and accepted assignments. Requirements for this role:<ul><li>Reliable personal vehicle and valid drivers license</li><li>Smartphone</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>You must be detail oriented, dependable with strong communication skills</li><li>You have a basic working knowledge of pet care</li><li>You need to be able to follow written directions consistently and carefully.</li><li>Must reside within our service area (Boulder County). We will not accept applications from outside our service area due to the amount of driving involved.</li></ul>Experience working with animals in a professional capacity is preferred, whether paid or volunteer, including:<ul><li>Veterinary assistant or technician</li><li>Humane society or rescue organization</li><li>Grooming</li><li>Boarding or kennel experience</li><li>4H or other animal care programs</li></ul>If you are dependable, enjoy working independently, love animals and want to provide exceptional care, we'd love to hear from you!
